PhotoKifu does not collect, send or sell any personal data. Photos are processed on your phone and stay there.
Camera and photos
The camera is only used to photograph Go boards. Each photo is analysed on your phone. Photos are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
Data stored on your phone
Saved positions, their thumbnails and your settings are kept in the app’s private storage on your phone. Deleting a position or uninstalling the app removes them. Depending on your Android backup settings, this data may be part of your own phone backup, which Google manages under your account. We have no access to it.
Network access
The app does not request the Android Internet permission. It cannot send data anywhere by itself.
Sharing
When you share an SGF file, you choose the app it goes to. That app’s privacy policy then applies.
Analytics, ads and accounts
There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no crash-reporting service in the app.
Children
PhotoKifu is suitable for all ages. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
This website
photokifu.com uses no cookies and no analytics. Fonts and images come from our own domain. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the site.
Changes
If this policy changes, for example because a new feature needs the network, we will update this page before the change is released and change the date above.
