Why it exists
Copying a Go position by hand, after a club game or from a book, is slow and easy to get wrong. A phone camera can do it in seconds, and the result is a standard SGF file that works in any Go program.
How it works inside
The camera finds the board and its grid. A small neural network, trained on real and computer-generated photos of Go boards, then decides whether each point is empty, black or white. Everything runs on the phone, so the app needs no internet access. We measure accuracy on real board photos that were never used for training.
Rules we follow
Photos stay on your phone. No account. Standard file formats. One photo gives one position, and you can check and fix it before saving.
